TePe
Our brand review.
Interdental brushes, picks and precision brushes.
By Hello My Teeth editorial research · No hands-on testing

Our take.
TePe is a practical manual option when choosing tools for particular spaces between teeth or around dental work. Fit and handling matter more than buying the largest pack.
Start with a sizing demonstration from your dentist or hygienist. A small pack can make sense before a bulk order, because one mouth may need several sizes and a brush will not fit every tight contact. These products need no charging equipment or app.
Three formats to compare.

| Product or decision | Verified buying facts | What to weigh |
|---|---|---|
| Original Interdental Brushes Mixed pack, 0.4–1.3 mm | $8.99 for eight brushes; about $1.12 each. Straight heads with short handles; this pack contains eight of the range’s nine sizes. | Useful for exploring fit with guidance. Not every size will be usable for you; it is not eight identical refills. Record each suitable TePe size for future orders. |
| EasyPick XS/S 36-pack | $5.95; about $0.17 per pick. Other listed choices: 12 for $2.99 and 60 for $7.99. | A different format from a wire interdental brush. XS/S is the TePe selection name, not a promise it fits every narrow space. Compare handling and label instructions. |
| Compact Tuft | $5.99 for the listed brush. An angled, single-tuft brush for targeted areas such as around fixed braces or implants. Handle colors ship according to availability. | An addition for hard-to-reach surfaces, not a substitute for every between-teeth tool. Ask for a demonstration for your dental work; do not apply interdental sizing rules to the tuft. |
Fit first, then technique.
TePe’s sizing guide says the bristles should fit snugly while the wire avoids the adjacent teeth. Several gaps may need different sizes. Do not force a brush through a space or continue with a painful fit; get help with sizing.
The Original brush instructions describe gentle back-and-forth movement once daily, avoiding ordinary abrasive toothpaste on the interdental brush, and replacing it when filaments wear. Bending guidance differs for small and large sizes. Follow the illustrated instructions rather than repeatedly bending a wire to make it fit.
EasyPick and Compact Tuft have different shapes and purposes. Use their current pack directions, including cleaning/storage and replacement advice. We do not assume the Original brush instructions or lifespan apply to either. ADA guidance explains the available between-teeth formats; persistent pain deserves advice about fit and technique.
Pack price is only part of value.
Our unit prices divide the displayed pack price by its quantity and are rounded. They are not a cost per day: useful sizes, wear and your routine determine consumption. The 36-pack of EasyPick costs less per pick than the 12-pack, but an unsuitable bulk pack is poor value.
TePe offers optional recurring deliveries; a subscription renews rather than representing a one-time discount. Check the frequency and cancellation terms before choosing it.
Returns have hygiene conditions.
The US policy allows returns within 15 days of receipt with prior customer-care authorization. Products must remain in sellable condition and original TePe packaging. The customer pays return shipping except for damaged merchandise or an incorrectly shipped order.
Do not buy a sizing pack assuming used brushes can be returned. We did not verify a separate device-style warranty or a fixed service life for these manual tools; contact TePe for damaged or incorrect items.
Practical pros & cons.
Reasons to consider
- Manual formats avoid charging, battery and app costs.
- Multiple sizes and pack quantities support a comparison based on fit.
- Precision tools offer another format to discuss for awkward surfaces.
Limitations to weigh
- Several sizes may be needed; some brushes in a mixed pack may go unused.
- Brushes and picks have ongoing replacement costs.
- We have not tested handling, durability or cleaning results.
Before choosing a pack.
- Identify the tool and exact size for each space; ask for a demonstration.
- Compare usable quantity, one-time price and shipping before choosing bulk or recurring orders.
- Read the current pack’s warnings, use, cleaning and replacement instructions.
What else to compare.
Compare the format and routine before the brand. These are reading options, not a ranking or a claim that different products are equivalent.
Frequently asked questions.
Is the mixed pack a good refill pack for everyone?
It is primarily a way to explore sizes. Once you know which sizes fit, a same-size pack may be more practical. Price per brush alone cannot measure value when some sizes are unsuitable.
Does TePe replace my regular toothbrush?
Interdental and precision brushes serve specific spaces. Keep the overall brushing and between-teeth routine advised by your dentist or hygienist.
Should the color match a brush I bought from another brand?
Do not assume so. Match the exact brand, product family and size specification. Ask for help fitting a brush when moving between brands or formats.
